Lip Enhancement

Get fuller, supple lips with lip filler injections

Over time, a variety of factors such as ageing, sun exposure and hormonal changes can cause lips to lose volume and appear thinner.

Dermal filler injections instantly restore this loss of fullness, creating a subtle yet visible difference that lasts for up to a year.

At Caci, we use Juvederm® dermal fillers for lip enhancement treatments to add volume. This brand of filler is much smoother in consistency than others, so you will see a much more natural result. The formulation we use also contains 0.3% Iidocaine, a local anaesthetic that provides more comfort both during and after injection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does it work?

Dermal filler is an injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring substance in your skin. At Caci, we only allow qualified and highly trained Registered Nurses to administer the filler, which involves a quick injection process into the targeted area.

Once injected, the substance instantly plumps up the skin, smoothing away deep lines, folds and wrinkles in the face and adding volume to lips.

What happens after a treatment?

We'll check in with you to see how you're feeling after your treatment, and to answer any questions you might have.

Any pain after the treatment is usually minimal. The most common issue is temporary swelling. Although this is highly variable on the individual and it depends on how much your lip has been enlarged, and on your individual healing characteristics. Swelling and/or bruising can last up to two weeks.

Does it hurt?

The injection process is quick and the needles are small and fine, so the treatment hardly hurts at all. You'll likely feel a pinprick, but most clients describe the treatment as being a bit uncomfortable rather than painful. At Caci, we use Juvederm® fillers for lip enhancement treatments to add volume to thin or sunken lips. This brand of filler is much smoother in consistency than others, so you will see a much more natural result. The formulation we use also contains 0.3% Iidocaine, a local anaesthetic that provides more comfort both during and after injection.

How long do the effects last?

Results vary from person to person, but typically fillers last between 12-24 months and are noticeable immediately after the treatment.

Who performs the treatments?

Our cosmetic medicine treatments are only performed by qualified and highly trained Registered Nurses, so you can rest assured you're in safe hands. To ensure you get best results, you will have a consultation first to discuss the treatment and you can explain the type of result you'd like.

How much does it cost?

The cost will vary between individuals and these will be discussed at your free consultation. We offer a range of payment options and plans - including LAYBUY, so you can choose one that suits you.

Are there any treatment risks?

Any pain after the treatment is usually minimal. The most common issue is temporary swelling, but this varies widely between individuals and depends on how much your lip has been enlarged, and on your individual healing characteristics. Swelling and/or bruising can last up to two weeks.
